Isaiah 7: Isaiah sent to the King

After calling Isaiah to be a prophet, God sents him to the king to prophecy against Judah, but there is also a promise of deliverance. Prophecy usually involves a near prophecy to validate the prophet so that they can believe the far prophecy. In this case the near prophecy is Jerusalem will not be sacked with Assyria sweeps through the land taking Israel.
