Isaiah 52: God will redeem Jerusalem

Jerusalem is God's chosen city and will be destroyed by Babylon, the people of the city taken into captivity. Then God will return the captives to the city with the Temple treasures along with resources to rebuild the city walls and Temple. Then, again Jerusalem and the Temple will be destroyed in 70 AD and the people banished from the city in 132. Today, while the nation Israel is reborn after some 2,000 years, the city is divided - it is still the Times of the Gentiles, yet Jerusalem will some day be the glowing city on the hill. Join us as we look at Isaiah 52 as the LORD moves in this larger Servant of the LORD section to proclaim the Redeemer of Israel will suffer and die for sin.
